MindLAB Set has been designed in compliance with the international scientific standards, set up by the Society for Psychophysiological Research
The monitoring of electrodermal conductance is the psychophysiological parameter with the longest historical legacy and even though most complex, having developed from the second half of the nineteenth century.
Precisely because of this story, particularly long and complex, a considerable variety of different methods still coesist.
In order to make MindLab Set, used, optimally, in scientific research and in specialized scientific publications, international level, it is emphasized that the system has been implemented with the objective of meeting the standards and guidelines dictated by the Ad hoc Committee of Electrodermal Measures, set up by theSociety for Psychophysiological Research and directed by Wolfram Bucsein (2012).
To this end, anybody, interested in publishing, on an international research projects in which the MindLab Set is involved, should quote the data mentioned below.
MindLab Set is a computerized device tracking, digital recording and biological feedback (biofeedback) of electrdoermal conductance (Scrimali, 2012 and 2014 ).
The system operates by using a way for measuring electrodermal activity, implemented according to the method of exosomatic measurement, using a direct current and applying to the skin of a constant voltage ( BOUCSEIN W., Fowles D.C., Grimnes S., SHAKHAR B.G., ROTH W.T., DAWSON M.E., Filion D.L., 2012).
This method of analysis of the conductance, according to the Committee on electrodermal Measures, consisting of the Society for Psychophysiological Research, is, to date, the technique the most widely recommended and for clinical research.
